Kemana kau pergi?
3 kali rembulan berganti namun tak kembali
Dahulu rumah dibangun, rumput disiangi, pagar nan kokoh
berdiri
Semangat hidup kadang meluap tak kuasa terbendung
Bagai pohon cemara pesat susul-menyusul matahari
Kemana kau pergi?
Kini rumah pun tak lagi layak huni
Pagar tak mampu menahan daya rusak sekedar kambing cacingan
Burung pipit enggan bertengger diranting gersang
